Where you can get them: The OS/2 Text & PM versions are available on the
FTP sites ftp.cdrom.com & hobbes.nmsu.edu (paths may vary since the files
are moved after verification).
The DOS versions are available from the huge SimTel DOS software FTP
sites and their mirror sites, such as ftp.coast.net under the path
/SimTel/msdos/entertn
The Windows versions will also be available from the SimTel sites, such
as ftp.coast.net under the path /SimTel/win3/entertn
*ALL* versions are available on the FTP site at clover.cleaf.com, which
is where I release all Snake-Byte programs. This site is a bit primitive
and can only handle a small amount of FTPs at one time, so if you can't
get on, try back later. The path is /pub/mst3k/snake-byte (for the MST3K
programs) and /pub/mst3k/snake-byte/NON-MST3K (for all others, look for
the filenames listed above).
Fidonet BBS's that carry the various Snake-Byte Inc. A.E.G.'s follow.
Please Note: The "Official" Fido Snake-Byte Inc. file site is X-Capade
BBS. *ALL* Snake-Byte Inc. programs are available from this site at *ALL*
times. Sysops can FREQ the above filenames or the "Magic Name" listed
below for a current version of this message with available filenames.

Well, maybe not on Star Fleet ships (probably something similar to the
physical harm limitations, a hardwired `no sex scenarios' subroutine), but
again, there's private systems like Quark's holosuites....

In virtual reality, one should practice safe hex, eh?
You know, this could be somewhat less virtual if it involved a full sensor
contact suit as seen in The Lawnmower Man. The couple there were simply a few
feet apart, tied into the same system, but with a sufficently wide bandwith
connection, they could be thousands of miles apart (up to the limit of
noticeable speed of light delays). This would be in a gray area between virtual
reality and telepresence.
And it could give a whole new meaning to the concept of `computer dating'....

Science itself doesn't care about the will of the majority, but politicians
who take stands on science-related issues (space exploration, nuclear power,
genetics and bioethics, environment, etc.) do.
Unfortunately, it's been my experience that most of the public and most
politicians are scientifically too ignorant for *intelligent* voting. (anyone
can vote from the gut, or even flip a coin) I see his point.
I take no sides on the rest of his message, though.

Sorry, Tom...somebody else wrote that using my name. I'm

not much more but I assure you it wasn't me who wrote that.

SD>HEY!!! Nice to see not everyone likes Star Trek! Let me ask you... Do you
SD>think the show has gotten better since the pilot? I didn't like the pilot cu
SD>McQueen was a bit of a hard ass on the 58th. HE has gotten better. Who you
SD>like on the show?
I think it has gotten a lot better since the pilot. Although now the
Chigs(sp) are being made out to be wimps. I mean come on, I would like
to see their carrier or something get one good thrashing, perhaps have
one episode that ends TERRIBLY for the "good guys." I have only missed
one episode, that being this weeks when (I can't spell her name) the
black girl gets the psi powers. I can't say how that one was, but
unlike the previews said I heard no one died, well not a main character
at least. Oh well. I do really enjoy the show, although is it a rule
that all the AI's must be like models? Oh well.
Who do I like on the show? Well I really like McQueen, he is just a good
actor, and an all around "cool guy." I have always liked Vansen, mainly
at first I was like, "Wow, she's fine." And now I just like her part, I
mean she is still fine of course =) but I really do enjoy her character.
I don't like (I'll try it here) Danpheus(sp), West, well, he is just
kinda "there" now, Hawks, I like him better since he got his haircut, I
honestly forgot the asians name (it's 2:10am as I type this) but he is
cool. I know I'm missing some, but my favorites are Vansen and McQueen.
The most horrible episode to me so far has been their "Christmas" one.
Pretty sad. I don't really have a favorite one, the one called "Fredd
Butt's" was pretty hilarious, I enjoyed that one.
What about you?
