Hey man, what kind of life do you have if you have tons of QWK
packets, and you havn't even finished with them yet. Since, you must
really have a lot of time on your hands, to be able to deal with all
those QWK packets. And as for Weird science, apparently i never got
hooked to that series. I mean, i just like real quality sci fi stuff,
and i think the weird science show is not real good quality sci fi
show. And, that is why i don't watch it. I think Kelly Lebrock was a
better lisa, and though the new lisa is very pretty, that i think she
better be off on baywatch or something. Anyways, that is all i have to
say.

Well, apparently when it comes to UFO's and stuff, Skully doesn't
beleive, and we all found out that it wasn't aliens sort to speak that
abuducted her. Or at least, we do not know fully to what happened to
her back in that episode. As for the aliens that Mulder and Skully
seen at that warehouse episode, and all those files, and Mulder finds
out what his father been up to. And his father got killed. And that
the aliens that were in that one, were very real. But, apparently
Skully just doesn't follow the same view point. Either because she
doesn't know what she saw, or that she refuses to beleive what is
really happening. Anyways, i think it was time for mulder to be
skepticle, since it was dealing with something that was all written in
the bible. And that is what the episode was about mostly, which is GOD
and other stuff. Or was it the episode about where Skully founded out
that she wasn't the only one that was upducted sort to speak, and she
met all these other women, who seem to know her, and been through the
same experience with her. Can someone refreshen my memory to what
exactly happened in that episode, where Mulder just didn't beleive what
skully was talking about. I remember it dealt with someone who was
strangling people with his hands, and left burning marks as if the
devil was in his body. So, i think that was the episode. And all i
have to say there, true or not true, there is no proof for Mulder to
beleive that religion is playing a major part in life, and that things
that skully thought was real is real.

I am surprised how the other stations don't even measure up clsoe to
what FOX has been doing. They have ice hockey, the NFL football thing
till the play offs were over. And a lot of other great shows.
Apparently CBS is dead, and NBC is jsut good only because of the NBA
bastketabll, the superbowl and some sci fi stuff. And channel 7 is
really dead, i hardly been able to watch anything on channel 7 for a
long time now.. ABC sucks. And channel 9, is ok, but it's UPN, so,
they always have good stuff on certain days.

explosion happened, two dudes fly off, another dude get's the rod into

Thank goodness that, no radiation leaked out, or anything else that

DJ>When did scientific issues become particularly a matter of popular

Someday this sleeping monster would have to become informed--what
happens when such a composite of citizenery has to vote in restrictive
rules about cherished activities upon themselves becauuse of global
warming, such as giving some forms of refrigeration up to reduce
greenhouse gases, for instince?

THIS person can deliberate about *that* kind of issue? More

intrusive restriction to stop global warming?

DJ>-ED> Why does my guts suspect a educated and ethical population might not

DJ>I am educated. I hope I am ethical. But I enjoy mediocre
DJ>entertainment.

I'm not on a crusade to bahish mediocre entertainment, understand.
What concerns me is that a society such as ours and Europe demands
discerning, reasoning people who can think about the deeper issues of
life without having an allergic reaction to serious thinking.

Actually, true democracy works at its best when there is a
population thinking and reasoning with themselves about deep and serious
issues to the end these citizens competently instruct their delegated
governmental officals to carry out prudent and sound wishes and operate
our econony and technology humanely without serious stress on indidivual
personal reationships and lifestyles,

I question the durability of a society that is this ignorant and
intellectually defective because its citizens rule their peers

You can watch every minute of medicore entertainment and I can
choose to pass that up. I'm not against its production in a society
where the more thoughtful don't have to be concerned about its viewers
accurately distinguishing fiction from reality, good and bad science
from academic research scientists, good and bad policy from elected
officials.

Back to the sponge-mind person referred to at the start of my reply:
What could happen if this kind of individual becomes prevalent globally?
