Well, i for one, may be able to enjoy watching sliders again. All i
know, is that i thought it was a cool idea at first. But, remember
that show, Deadly Games. Where after it seemed cool, that all the
crazzy things started to happen. And for some reason you just like the
show even though it has stupid stuff going on it. Well some of the
crazzy stuff that happened in Sliders, is the same there. But, they do
try to make it more realistic, and it some episodes were good. I was a
fan of sliders, sort of, and i might be able to enjoy watching the
series again, if it really is coming back.

Do you people have anything else you may want to talk about, for
Space Above and Beyond. For one thing, i havn't been able to find much
being discussed in any other forums, other than a networked sci fi
conference. But, let's see who else is in here, that are fans of space
above and beyond, and let's talk about a few things. Like episodes we
liked, and stuff that may make intresting discussions started.

Hey watch it with the language here. But, since we are on the
subject of talking about dangerous woman. What about XENA - WARRIOR
PRINICESS.. She is one hot babe, and one that could really kick your
butt. I sure would like to take her on a date, or to get to know her
better, maybe even marrying her, and raise a family. But, the point
is, she is a tough one also.

Excuse me, are you guys fans of Strange Luck, and seen all the new
episodes. If i were FOX, i would air Sliders on Thursday night at 8
pm. Since there really isn't anything else to watch on thursday night,
other than a thursday night prime movie, on HBO, at 9 pm. This way,
Voyager is on monday. Tuesday is Deadly Games, and Wednsday is
SeaQuest, Thursday Sliders and Friday's Strange Luck and X files. ANd
i am a big fan of the show strange luck, and looking to talk about some
of the past episodes with anyone else who is a fan of it. And i don't
want FOX to get rid of Strange Luck, which is as good as X-Files, to
put in Sliders. If they do that, i would be very angry at all the
slider fans out there.

Though it was a very interesting idea, for aliens to use bugs as
little robots to observe earth, that i find it to be stupid idea also.
Since, it deals with bugs, why not just use something else, like a
bird, or a bigger animal.

"Nowhere Man"

CR> I'm curious to know if anyone has any ideas on just who this might be,
CR> because *personally* I think that it's going to end up being his wife,
CR> and that the entire "hidden agenda" (the name of the picture which was
CR> stolen from him) idea was merely a part of some bigger, hidden agenda.
I'll have to think about *that* one. I'm certainly not saying that she's not
a possibility, but I haven't even considered *her* as anything more than a
minion of The Conspiracy.

On 01/19/96 at 09:19, JON HELIS uttered these words to STEPHEN ADAMS:
"NOWHERE MAN," which prompted this discussion:
JH> Did you see it this week?
I most certainly did! :-)
JH> The show has taken an interesting turn, hasn't it?
Yes it has! Before, I assumed that The Conspiracy simply wanted to get their
hands on the Hidden Agenda negative to keep from facing bad publicity over
the event chronicled in the picture. Killing off Tom in order to get it would
certainly improve their chances of keeping that photo secure.
Now, it appears that, as one other poster here mentioned, that Tom's wife may
have more to do with The Conspiracy chasing after Tom than simply getting
their hands on the negative.
JH> Tom has been offered leads on how to find the people who did it to him.
JH> Is he going to make use of them?
Of course he is - the dialog in the promos for upcoming episodes says
something to the effect that Tom is going to be working his way "up" the
organization till he finds his answers. :)
Also, see my response to your last question (later in this post).
JH> What will he find in his search, now that he has new clues?
Not many answers right away; definitely more questions. But... at least he has
some sort of path, or guidance, to follow in order to get his questions
answered. Before, he was running around blind, and any answers that he got
came more from dumb luck than anything else.
Another thought just came into my little mind... :) Perhaps we're seeing a
shift in the focus of Tom's character. Instead of seeing him running around as
a man gripped with paranoia, could we be seeing him bent on taking *revenge*?
JH> What consequences will there be from Tom's killing the man who supposedly
JH> ordered the erasure of his life?
First of all, Tom *didn't* kill Mr. Grayson (I think that was his
protagonist's name). We assume that The Insider feeding Tom his info was the
killer, but as the actual murderer was off-camera, we don't know for sure.
What we *do* know is that Tom was knocked unconscious *before* the murder
occurred.
Of course, Tom left evidence at the scene of the crime that proved that he was
*in the room*, which circumstantially, *might* prove him to be the killer in
a court of law. But, as we saw at the end of the episode, another *innocent*
was eventually charged with the crime, so Tom was off-the-hook - for now. But,
in the eyes of The Conspiracy, Tom *knew* who the killer was, so he will be
hunted down for that (along with their original intent of getting the Hidden
Agenda negative).
From this episode, we now have a *feeling* that Tom's wife has more to do with
his "erasure" than we previously had known. Perhaps her character will come
into play more and more. (Hopefully, we'll get to see this, but through the
eyes of Tom - I certainly don't want to see this take place through the eyes
of a third party!)
I expect to see a "harder-edged," more focussed Tom than what we saw before;
grittier and more revengeful, but still just inside the law. But, I also tend
to think that Tom may act like he's just following someone else's plan (the
unknown Insider's), feeling trapped at times. Tom will almost *have* to use
the clues provided by, and play by the rules of, The Insider (another
reason to my "yes" answer to one of your above questions), or run the risk of
being turned in (by The Insider) as Grayson's (?) murderer.
Interesting character, this Tom Veil: paranoid man seeking revenge under the
possible threat of blackmail. :)
