That's not exactly what the ST:TNG TM says. The relevant passage is excerpted
below...
"17.2 FUTURE DIRECTIONS: THE ROAD TO 1701-E
"Twenty years from now, the Galaxy class USS Enterprise will still be in
the first phase of her operational lifetime... Eventually, the Galaxy class
will be superseded with a new space vehicle whose design will be as
revolutionary as that of the Enterprise is today. One starship in the new
class may even be the sixth to bear the name Enterprise, the NCC-1701-E.
"Starfleet Command, through its Advanced Starship Design Bureau, is
already considering concepts for the proposed Nova class..."
The above is one of the most persistantly misunderstood passages put into print.
The Nova Class is a preliminary design study for a starship class which won't
even be designed for several decades. That the E-E *might* be of the class was
based on the idea that the E-D would not need to be replaced until then. Of
course, since it was destroyed, it needs to be replaced a lot earlier than
anticipated. However, it's a pretty good bet that it won't be a Nova Class.

This list will be updated on a weekly basis after every new episode.
The ages listed for the immortals are, in most cases, estimates given
from "flashback" appearances and dialog from the various episodes. Where
exact ages have been shown, I list those. In the case of deceased Immortals,
ages listed are at the time of death.
No characters from that abortion of a film "Highlander 2" will ever find
a place on this list with the exception of Connor MacLeod and Ramirez. No
characters from that abortion of a cartoon on USA will ever appear, either.
