I saw it in Furudal (transl. "Pine Valley"), a small town in the middle region
of Sweden, and I guess you're right about it looking like a star.
You can't estimate the distance to a star, and maybe not to this either, but it
was much more closer than a satellite or a star, and it kept on dropping
these shooting stars on the ground, so I can't accept the idea of it being a
reflection, nor diffraction. And if it was a reflection, how come I wasn't the
only witness? About diffraction, we have these beautiful colors appearing
some nights on the sky (Sorry, don't seem to recall what it's called in English)
that the Swedes call "Northern shine". But whatever I saw, I know that I've
never seen anything like this...

Nuke us? Why would they? We are a quite peaceful race, living in a world which
still has blue oceans and fertile agricultural areas. If they nuked us they
wouldn't have the living world of today before them, just a sterile lifeless
rock. I don't know, but I don't think this is their purpose.

Great Britain: Margaret Thatcher. (Prime Minister)
Israel: Golda Meir. (Prime Minister)
There are other countries that have been ruled by women in this century.
Mentally less rational? Horse hockey.
Weaker, well...NASA studies have shown that, all other factors being equal
(primarily training) women are able to remain conscious at higher stress and
pain levels than men, but men are able to remain functional (able to do other
things besides just remain conscious) at higher stress and pain levels than
women. BUT, and it is a big but, a trained woman is so far superior to an
untrained man that the results aren't even funny.
Men tend to have greater upper body strength than women. But women tend to live
longer than men (their basic constitutions tend to be better, and their systems
are designed for "dual support"...funny about that...and tend to be just a wee
bit tougher over the long haul).

The movie was, IIRC, entitled LA JETTE. A really strange time travel thing
wherein our protagonist ends up getting a power source from his own future and
being murdered in the past (viewed by himself). Quite bizarre.

FAR LESS WORKLOAD! What planet have you been living on? This has no bais in
fact. Just because men have bneen able to lift a heavier rock than women
doesn't negate the fact that women lift smaller rocks ALL DAY LONG.
Certainly, in the Third World today, women tend to do most of the grunt work
due to their subservient postions.
