That is why I said niagra. Maybe wind is not reliable but it can be used
in conjunction with geo thermal, solar, and hydroelectric. And I am pretty
sure there has got to be a way to make electric power in which we are so
bleeping dependent on in conjunction with the enviroment. Going back to
the upper schematic, when those turbines move, they have in them a magnet
do they not which when turning makes electricity. I'm sure if we had a bunch
of people thinking of safe, and enviromentally sound ways to make it they
could come up with something. I don't know maybe put some turbines floating
in the gulf stream or something, the force of ocean currents could maybe
turn those things. It would have to be safe guarded against, and safe guarded
for the animals currently still able to live in the worlds oceans.

Being a hermit at some points is something that I consider, not seriously,
but I'm here for a reason, that reason is to work with people. hiding
out in some primordial jungle doesn't get me out there trying to change
things in the world. What makes you think that I am a vegetarian? I eat
meat. I don't hunt currently, one because no knowledge and two I can do
all my major hunting in stores. And if I was to huddle in my cave I darn
well would use fire, caves are not cold, they have a consistent temp,
year round. They are also humid and have rock and sand and stuff, not
easy to have an out of control fire in there. I was using fire as a metaphor.

I thought that was his voice....I don't usually get the chance to read

Actually, if you want to know the truth, until this last season, I couldn't
stand Babylon 5. I think, though, it was the different writing methods and
the different types of special effects that I had problems adjusting to.
The episode that caught my attention is the one that had the "sex scene"
in it. I just happened to be channel surfing and those particular aliens
caught my attention. I just about died laughing at that one. I've been
hooked ever since.
I think what happens is people just had gotten used to seeing Starfleet
and some people, myself included, had problems adjusting.

I've heard of it. What they were doing was replacing some gears on a
control rod, when they apariently pulled it out to far. Their were three
workers killed in the accident. Two were blown to the side and the third
was impaled with the control rod. When that hapen alarms went of all
over the site. Though evan with this type of accident almost no radation
left the building.

Not *all* of us missed it. Some of us have been making that point
repeatedly.

I think you exaggerate (and believe me, I'm not fan of Greenpeace).
Yes, I believe that the agenda of *some* members of Greenpeace is to
repeal the 20th century (technologically, anyhow). But that isn't
going to happen. They can't. And most of them are simply sincerely
concerned (whether correctly or not) about the environment.

As long as errors are possible, ANY form of energy is dangerous.
Forest fires destroy *how* many acres of woodland every year? How
many people are killed by coal, oil, gasoline and other fossil fuels
every year?
