that us loyal fans were given a little special secret or at least given
an advantage over all of those other watchers of the x-files. what i
want to know is if jeremiah smith is of the same alien race as all those
clone aliens frrom the two aforementioned episodes. smith can morph,
just like the hunter, so are they the same race? if so, then why would
the hunter be after him? i know the hunter is trying to prevent
colonization but why? is he only preventing other alien races from
colonizing or is he preventing every alien race, including his own, from
colonizing earth? why would mulder's dad have the weapon to kill the
hunter and these other aliens? i know he's part of the project, but why
would he have it and how would his wife know about it? if she knew
about the weapon then she must know something about samantha. i
=definately think she is keeping something from mulder. i guess we'll
never find out what it is if she never regains consciousness. i am most
certain that jeremiah smith will be killed. i mean, what would mulder
do with this new information about the project and his sister? he would
and scully would have to most definately become players in the game.
and if x isn't careful, he's gonna end up getting himself killed. even
though the season finale raised more questions that answers, like its
suppose to do, i really enjoyed it. i juts hope that chris carter will
realize that mulder and scully just can't forget everything they've seen
and learned concerning the project, not discuss it further, and go on
with their lives as if nothing happened.

Sorry, but I know the defiant was built as a borg fighter. It wasn't finished
in time for the battle at wolf 359 and when it was finished the borg weren't
insight so it was transferredto sisko, who helped design it, to bolster the DS9
sector againstthe dominion.

No, he's right. While it has been presed into service to defend DS9 and the
wormhole from the Dominion and other gamma quadrant threats, it was made clear
that the Defiant was a prototype of a class of ship (the only one Starfleet
admits is primairily a warship) meant to deal with Borg attacks.
The Enterprise-D found long ago that the Borg ships were so redundant, that
you'd have to destroy something like 80% of one, very quickly, to consider it
put out of comission. Massed attack by Defiant-class ships, which are basically
lots of guns and propulsion with a crew squeezed in there *should* do the job,
at least on a tactical level. Grand strategy is something else.....
But remembering how quickly the Gem'haddar destroyed the Galaxy-class USS
Odyssey, the same sort of ship would seem to have its place here, too.
