on the SciFi Channel recently. I've seen maybe six or seven episodes,
and while not great television it surprised me that it was actually
fairly decent. Certainly much better than the Fantastic Voyage series
which they showcased right before POTA. (Hmm, both with Roddy
McDowell too...) I think POTA deserved more that just the four months
it got. Oh well...

Yes, but in the episode I'm thinking of ("Mawdryn Undead", a Davison episode),
the only thing that kept the Doc' lives from being spent was both versions of
the Brigadeer touching at just the right moment, creating a massive alternate
energy source.

I can agree with B+. I was glad that McCoy got as much time on camera as he did.
However, that part of the movie was probably a bit slow for folx who aren't
really familiar with the Doc's BBC lives.
Its going to be tough getting used to seeing real special effects in a Dr. Who
episode, though. Poor old Alpha Centauri will never get work again :)
