TITLE, NUMBER/BIGGER NUMBER: Not an acronym, but a method of
indicating where you are in a book. Write the title first,
followed by a parenthesis, followed by the page number you
are on, followed by the total number of pages in the book.
For example, if you were on page 12 of Mort, it would be
MORT, 12/285. Who came up with this is unclear.

This is TV Science Fiction. The characters never have to use the toilet, so
there are none in the ST universe.

TG> Yah, but were are the vermin supposed to come from in the first place?
TG> Surely it would be easier to keep loading bays etc sterile?
In my opinion, where ever you make it inhabitable for human life, our pesky
friends will eventually follow. The one way to prevent this is to make all
humans and cargo go through an air-less lock. You would have to provide
respiratory support for the humans and wanted live cargo. Even if the human's
clothing was sterilized and the human and animals washed, I think that
eventually insects and other vermin would get through.
As we have more travel in space, the cleaning of humans and cargo would be done
less and less carefully. We have a lot of trouble with vermin contamination in
our food supply now!

It was one of those shows I enjoy for about 15 min at a time, but I did
enjoy it ;)
Anyone remember the show that came on after it, about the 5 or 6 people
who survived a nuclear war?

Well, this now surpasses "A Late Delivery from Avalon" for the very best
episode of season 3 yet. In fact, this takes the place of the number 1
episode of all time from "The Long, Twilight Struggle."

There we go, we're safe.. wait, I thought Kosh was safe also...
Lets hit this one right off the bat... Kosh is DEAD. I cannot believe it.
For this episode I avoided every spoiler, I KNEW someone was going to die
in it, however I honestly thought it would be Morden. I thought Londo was
going to tear him apart.
But no... well, that Kosh scene at the end (and the beginning! We'll get to
that one also!), has SO much in it, I know I cannot beging to get to it all,
or even hope to. That has got to be some of the best writing since "Avalon"
and "Inquistor." It was PERFECT. I loved it, I have watched just that scene
alone over 10 times now, this is one scene I just cannot seem to get enough
of. I know soon I probably will, but for now, well, I could care less about
"War Without End." Usually I am awaiting an episode, not this time, this one
is still with me. At LEAST we know for a fact that Kosh went down fighting,
and he fought HARD according to JMS. It's just so hard to keep knowing that
David Sheridan was actually Kosh in this one, I mean, sure you KNOW it, but
just to think about what Sheridan's dad SAID, and knowing it was Kosh saying
it, just, well, it's sad, and for me, something being sad means it had to of
been done right. I have never been SAD an an episode of B5 until now, I have
felt bad plenty of times, but never, ever, not once have I been sad and mad
at the same time. The scene was just so perfect, it could have been screwed
up majorly, but JMS handled it well. Instead of showing some overblown CGI
battle, they just showed very, very brief glimpses of Kosh getting hit, it
felt like one of those really well done classic horror movies. You do not
have to see a lot of blood or fighting, or even the murder itself, it's just
looking at it when it's over that you KNOW that it was a furious fight. JMS
has not commented, at least that I have seen yet, on if Kosh took any of the
Shadows out, but I doubt he did, I'm sure he got his blows in, but I doubt
he got any of them damn bastards.
Morden in that scene... I have see a *LOT* of speculation on him in this
episode. I feel, like many, that Morden did NOT want to be there when Kosh
died. It was more of the Shadows saying to him, "Here, this is a test, you
watch us kill him." and at the end when his encounter suit was fully broke
open, and it looked like a candle going out in Mordens face-plate thing, look
at his eyes, he can see Kosh, I'm guessing for what he REALLY is, I doubt
he appeared as an angel to him, whatever Kosh is, Morden did NOT want to see
him die.
Also, I have heard speculation from some over-zelous fans that think Kosh
is still alive, or will be back (ala Spock), nope, he's an ex-Kosh, he's gone
and will not be back, except maybe in "War Without End" but we'll get to that
in a second.
No, we'll get to that now. JMS just recently stated that he was poisoned
just the way shown, he trusted Sinclair enough to reveal a portion of himself,
some have said why did he do that and JMS said because he RECOGNIZED Sinclair,
my guess is, they have met, in the past somehow, or in the future and, well
it will all make sense in "War Without End."
Kosh's ship.. Ivanova looked really upset that it killed itself, I mean it
sang to her in her dreams and everything, and the last line "In rememberence
of Kosh." very sad. I know some who say Kosh's death was nothing major, well
it was. We have known him for over 4 years now, coutning the premier. I felt
worse for him than for Talia, Keffer, even Sinclair leaving. Oh, and Na'Toth.
Evidently during the screening Patrica Tallman was in tears watching the
scene.
More on Kosh now, the first scene, in the hallway. I can't say it any better
except to say it was awesome. Pure and simply awesome. When Kosh was
slamming Sheridan against the wall and "eyeing" him, and saying "Impudent,"
among other things, it just SOUNDED awesome. I really wish Kosh would have
been upset more often. And the Z'Ha'Dum thing... "Yes... now." And the,
"You do not understand... but you will." I feel like JMS is "rubbing"
something in our faces, as if WE should maybe have cought on by now, and when
we see what he means, we'll all go "DUH!" But who knows.
Still sticking with the Vorlons for now, was that battle with the Shadows just
not kick ass? And that red ship? It just man handled that WIMPY Shadow
vessel! And one of my favorite scenes was just when the Vorlon fighters were
going at that Shadow Cruiser, and it just kept turing around and around
looking for something to fire at but couldn't "get a lock" I guess you could
say. And the big kick ass cruiser, that thing had like, well, not this, but
you know.. SHIELDS. Not shields, but like, well it just was awesome, I
actually prefer this battle over the big huge one in "Severed Dreams." And
then the Vorlon ship took ANOTHER shot and just like a little part of it's
"appendage." It showed nothing of being hit. One thing though, from this
we know the Vorlons use "normal" jumpgate technology. I don't want to hear
that they were "not showing all thier tech" now, they would have had no
reason not to come in normally. No other "young race" was around to witness
this battle. So if the Vorlons are ever outnumbered their just as dead as
that Narn fleet. I wonder if any of the Shadow ships escaped... I really
would like to see a Vorlon cruiser taking on a Shadow cruiser in single
combat. I also like how the Vorlon ships all have markings on them, kinda
cool. I know we'll be seeing more.
And one last thing on the Vorlons, don't worry, we're almost done.
The new Vorlon ambassador is coming, some people are saying he will look,
sound, and act just like Kosh. I sure hope not. I hope he has a different
encounter suit, voice, and personality. I mean, I doubt anyone within the
League would notice, and if they did, are they gonna go up to him and say
"Hey, your not Kosh, take off that suit so we can see who you really are!"
I doubt it.
Now... Franklin... is he off the show or what? I thought he was, but JMS
stated that we would see him coping and dealing with his problem, so I guess
he is still on, yet that hand shake scene just felt like "I'm going." type
of thing, I guess not.
Oh, btw, there was a cut scene of a Ranger taking on a Shadow, but it was
cut...
Londo, he KNOWS Morden had a part in it. I feel this is going to happen. He
is so ticked, so confused and sad, he just lost the ONLY thing that meant
a damn to him and he is going to strike out at anyone and everyone. Morden
and the Shadows will of course help him, and when that is done, I feel Londo
is going to turn on Morden, and that is when the Shadows will turn towards
Centauri Prime. Londo I just love to hate. You feel so much pitty for him,
