William Shatner wrote it and I just finished it yesterday...
I would like someone to talk to about it but don't want to spoil it for anyone.
The title is "The Return" and is set right after "The Ashes of Eden".
Find it... Enjoy it...I liked it...

I'll talk to you, Kay...
TT> I think a lot of SF shows (now a days) have really lost

TT> really say I really love because it is just for FUN.
KS> The show just wouldn't be the same without any of them

TT> a distant third and fourth respectively.
I have a question for you two..
At the end of the last episode last year, when Quinn was shot, did not that guy
that Wade was interested in Slide too? I mean, I thought that he slid with the
group and was on the new world when they discovered Quinn's injury.
Am I remembering this right or did I get things mixed up?
BTW-- I'm glad it's back too. It's a refreshing change to see a TV show that can
poke fun at our society (such as the episode where Academia and Sports were
blened and Quinn was the Shaq of that world..). I was getting tired of all of
these so-called "reality" shows. (NYPD Blue, Law and Order..etc..)
and the home-video shows were a bit too cutsey for me.
Just my 2 cents, hope you don't mind...

The Navy probably wouldn't let a film crew near the real thing, either, even

DJ> In any case, it broke my heart when they blew up Morgan Fairchild

I was actually quite happy to see her killed off. She's one of those
actors that I can never see as the role they're playing, I just see Morgan
Fairchild, not [whatever the name of her character].
The show itself I actually liked. I was surprised. I was expecting
something, at best, pedestrian. It WASN'T a fantastic, blow me away, superb
pilot, but it was better than I expected. Some of the acting stood out as
horrible (spec - new ensign "I don't know how I'll tell my husband". okay line,
horrible delivery), and there's definite cheesiness. The bad guys are from
SIN-iceria, wear black nazi-like uniforms, and have a confederacy. {O-kay,
they're the bad guys. We get it, thank you}.
There's more than a few things I like though. Trafalger is a great name for
a flagship. NO aliens!! The premise has promise beyond the current disputed
planet storyline.
DJ> Of course, it's been a long time since I saw regulation mini-skirts on
DJ> a starship...
:> At least the mini-s were a choice of uniform, not ST:TOS required.
A nice touch that they'll probably -never- have the balls to do, would be a male
in a regulation kilt option uniform. :>
