again, i am only watching most of the sword fights, more than the hour
story events. But, i may start one day to see the full hour show.

I thought I was just about the only one who fondly remembered "Quark",
given that it lasted for about 6 episodes as I recall. The title
character was played by Richard Benjamin, a role I'm sure that he would
like us all to forget, and of course there were the Bettys. ;-) My
fuzzy memory recalls it being around 1977, which means that I, too, was
a dweebish 13-year-old at the time. Perhaps that explains its short
life. :-)

Aha! I've reached the end of Mona Lisa this weekend.. I'm in love with this
guy.. When I reached to chapter 23 (Mirror Mirror, in the Swedish edition) I
could not stop reading until I were finished! :)
TB> I love the way Gibson

Yes, I think Gibson really gets TO the reader with his books.. I almost get
desperate when I cant connect myself to the MicroWave owen when I'm done with
one of his books.. Gibson is able to stick to the reality, but still have the
exitement left! But, however, don't you think it's odd that he does'nt owe a
computer.. He knows quite much about computers and hitech, but never had a
computer in his home! Strange.. ;)
TB> There was just so much to Neuromancer I had to go back and read it a

Look Above! You don't think that you could copy thoose pages and send them to me
by snail-mail? If so, please write me a Net Mail And I'll send you my adress..
And I'll send you something from Sweden that you may be intressed about! :)
TB> After reading this

I guess that you are as fanatic as I am then!! I will buy myself "Burning

any other books that have the same style as the Gibson books?

I think that the most intresting thing with Gibsons books are the enviroments.
The enviroment in, for example, Neuromancer are not to fictonary.. In a not to
distant future, I think, we will be able to connect ourselfs into someone elses
nervsystems.. And be able to actually "travel" in sombody elses body. Like Case
did in Mollys body in "Neuromancer" (By a simstim (Is that the correct word?)).
Thats a intressting piece of work. But I hope that it won't begin with a module
to get rid of VCR's. As in "MonaLisa Overdrive", were Angie Mitchell is a
Moviestar. It would be a big misstake to use the technoligy for pure
entertainment purpose.

Correction : Gibson, not Gibsom! :)
I truly hope that I will live long enough to try Gibson's cyberspace! Just
once... It seems to be so BIG! :) But I guess they have to invent the device
they used in Neuromancer for 'saving' somebodys memory (don't remember the name
of it, and a friend lend the book of me). Thats a quite funny thing to. Just the
idea of saving a dead mans brain into a artificial brain makes my skin crawl! :)
I would like to live for ever! But ofcourse, the technological intelligiens of
humans have to increase alot before thats possible! Quite pity, actually.
But, however I've just read Mona Lisa Overdrive.. It was really good. I will buy
Burning Chrome this weekend when visiting my Girlfriend!

Same here... though I *did* tape the following episodes. It
was a good show, and there was a lot of potential there. Right now
I'm anxiously awaiting its ressurection on the SciFi Channel -- so
I can finally tape the pilot episode.
BTW: I noticed a scene of Eve diving out of a helicopter
in the "next week's episode" teaser, and never saw *that* episode.
There just might be one or more episode(s) sitting in a can somewhere.
We can only hope...

It was pretty popular in L.A. fandom and the eps were often shown at
