Westworld is one of my favorite all time movies. I've never
seen an uncut print of it I don't think, since my viewings of it
have been strictly late night broadcast TV showings of it.
Still a good movie nonetheless.
Even though they were robots, I still think it can be applied
here. In cybersex, or any other VR activity, nobody gets hurt,
which was the same in Westworld.
I look at the film from another point of view, that misdeeds,
even sanctioned misdeeds, in which nobody gets hurt, do have
consequences, and that certain behavior is simply immoral, and
should not go on, regardless of who gets hurt or not.
Anyone have an opinion on that?
... Security, confine Ensign Normandeau to the brig.

I'm sure your user base will increase in time. Again, it's good
you have your BBS back up.
JS> Pay boards suck.....
In some ways that's true, but I get alot of use out this board.
The sysop brought back this sub and Babylon 5 for me, he had
dropped them before because nobody was using them. As far as I
can tell, I'm the only caller using them right now. This board
also carries other echoes I'm active in, like the ham radio and
LA Chat echoes.
JS> First time I've been on this echo in about a year. I'm still trying

I catch it every Sunday night. Looks like this Sunday it's
getting pre-empted again, what a bummer. During football
season, you couldn't figure out when it was starting because of
games running over, now it's getting pre-empted. It seems like
Fox has done that a few times before, unfortunately. This is a
great series, and shouldn't get this kind of treatment.

I saw her at an Infinite Visions convention in New Orleans. It

set to appear, but he couldn't due to illness, so Terry Farrell
took his place.
JH> The ghosts of Battlestar Galactica and Space 1999 still haunt me

CL> I must say, I did like the ships in Galactica. I really thought the
CL> cylon ships were the epidomy of a "flying saucer".
Yes they were. Those Sphinx-Like helmets were a little much
though. They were trying to capitalized on Erich Von Danekin I
guess. I always found it odd on the show, it seemed when the
Colonial Vipers got hit, they didn't take much damage, while one
shot would wipe out a Cylon ship.
I thought Boltar was a good villain. John Colicos played the
part well, but they messed up the series when they let him get
captured and put on the prison barge.
Lately, I've taken to watching Space:Above and Beyond. Ever
watcht that one?

If you like stuff like this, you should pick up one of the

version, and it has some interesting stuff in it. Give it a try.

Sorry I missed Saturday, I didn't get the Email until around
1:00 AM on Friday! In addition, I've been battling a cold and
allergies, and took some medicine that put me right to sleep
Saturday afternoon. Maybe next time.
