Recently, I have noticed a number of votes, which were very similar. The votes
were for more or less the same books, and the scores given for each book
varied usually only by one or two. As a result, I am rather suspicious that
these votes were a kind of strategic vote (but I'm not 100% positive).
The effect of these votes was such that several book's averages (those
with fewer votes) dropped by almost 0.7, which is an extremely large drop.
Books with more votes, such as _Lord of the Rings_ weren't affected that much.
The overall effect will masked a little in the short term due to the diffused
average system I am using, but there will still be long term effects. There
are two ways I can think of to improve the long term effects
1) Censorship - This was discussed before, and it has been decided not to do
this, since I'll be introducing my own biases etc.
2) Getting more genuine votes.
So if you haven't voted before, you might want to think about it now, and
help keep this list a real indication of the opinions of the voters.
